I think it's a good term to use. In real life females can only become pregnant within a 72 hours time frame each month. If someone isn't keeping up with that then it might be a surprise, and it's iffy if they succeed or not in becoming pregnant within those 72 hours. Lot of variants of why not within the given time frame.
