Why we still don't have "give gift* option?

I hear that! I wanted to give a sim who need 1 more magic bean one from an others inventory. Give gift would've be so helpful.

Yup, still want this please. Along with maybe a "give money" or "write check" option. There's tipping but that's not the the same. I want a way for my parent sims to help out their moved out adult kids once in a while, without the kid asking for a loan.

There was another thread on this I remember; clearly it is still something people want.

Yes totally. A birthday is not complete without gifts, especially for children and toddlers.

I'd like to be able to gift any object from inventory as well as flower arrangements made from harvestable flowers.

Like why you can't give others stuff in your inventory yet? My vampire wants to give plasma packs to other vampires but he can't..like..why..

To give a gift to another Sim that lives with you, is simple. Open the inventory of the Sim that will give the gift, click on the present with the left button and drag to the photo of the Sim that will receive the gift. By doing this, the gift will go straight to the Sim's inventory that you have chosen.
I'm just not sure how to give a gift to a Sim that does not live together. But I belive that this option exist, somehow.

Not really, and that's pretty much the main thing being brought up here. Within a household, it might be nice to be able to go through the act of givng a gift, but yeah, obviously you just place them in their inventory lol

What I want is to be playing one household, get a notice that an adult child or close friend from ant=other household has had a birthday, and then be able to pick out a specific item and send it to them, with it then appearing on their lot or in their inventory.

Well in Sims mobile you can swap gifts so hopefully we can give gifts in Season EP.
