Not all are possible to place even with a moo cheat in this game. And sometimes Sims can't go through them. It's a hit and miss. Why not enable it in code so we don't have to cheat and mess up someone else's game if they don't turn on cheats? :D
I'm not opposed it it being coded in, but the moo cheat is supposed to be a blanket solution to this. If they code in slots for curtains over doorways, people will ask for more slots elsewhere. The moo cheat takes care of it so the team can focus their energy elsewhere.
Which curtains are giving you the issue, maybe I can help.
