I haven't forgotten everyone over here. I've been a bit consumed by other things, but I did finish my renovated lots for San Myshuno and most of Hidden Hollow (the equivalent of Forgotten Hollow from the Sim Union, but in the country of Cascadia). Your Sims are in for a real treat. I'm kinda lazy so I downloaded some gorgeous lots by very talented Simmers (I'll be sure to share original names/artists) and made some minor modifications for the purposes of this vacation.
A few minor updates to the schedule to allow your Sims to take in most, if not, all the festivals while in the city. More details and pictures to come.
Day 1 - Torendi Tower Hotel
Day 2 - Fashion District
Do a little souvenir shopping at the gorgeous updated mall, grab lunch at the food court, and get your geek on at Geek Con.
If your Sim attends Geek Con and they'd like to participate, what costume would they prefer? (I can post a list of costume options if you need)
Day 3 - Uptown
...with a renovated night club, Prism and a gorgeous bowling alley/karaoke
Day 4 - Myshuno Meadows
...which I renovated to be a lovely botanical garden with all sorts of activities and the evening will include a farm-to-table dinner
Day 5 - Spice District
It's a full day! Get your blood pumping in the morning at the renovated gym with celebrity trainer, Spencer "Swagger" Jeong from my Lost Christmas short and browse the books or wind down with poetry/story readings and tea at the library with celebrity writers from my stories. Or if your Sim is feeling brave, they can share something they've written too! We'll finish the evening at the delightful summer Spice Festival.
Day 6 - Hidden Hollow
We'll head to Hidden Hollow and check in to the Hollow Point Inn (with its surprisingly large underground suites and amenities).
Day 7 - Hidden Hollow
Enjoy a cup of coffee at the local cafe in the AM, meander through a spooky store or two, or take a stroll through town center. In the evening, we'll head the mausoleum and night club. Sounds spooky right? Don't worry. Vladislaus Straud has long since met his demise. :#
Day 8 - Return to San Myshuno
You'll have part of the day free, but be sure to head over to the Arts Quarter in the early evening for a delicious dinner in the Fountainview restaurant with a delightful musical performance. Then head on down to the streets for the Humor and Hijinks festival. (Which team will your Sim choose? Will they drink the light or dark tea? Do you have a preference or do you want to be surprised? )
Day 9 - Granite Falls
Day 10 - Granite Falls
Day 11 - Granite Falls
Day 12 - Free day
You are welcome to take a later bus back to the city and remain in Granite Falls longer. When you return to the city, might we recommend the Cabash Art Gallery in the Arts Quarter? Or if you didn't have an opportunity yet, pick up a souvenir at the mall. Or explore the city at your own pace and return to your favorite places.
Day 13 - San Myshuno
Today we'll have a fun scavenger hunt throughout the city. Then we'll head to the famous romance festival. Don't worry if you don't have a sweetheart. There is still plenty of fun things to do at the festival. And if the romance festival really isn't your thing, you can order room service and enjoy the hotel amenities.
Day 14 - San Myshuno
The flea market's in town. Feel free to make arrangements with the hotel and they will ship purchased items to you. Enjoy a leisurely brunch and late check out at the Torendi Tower Hotel. And then a goodbye party in the afternoon/evening at a special to-be-named celebrity's home!
It's sure to be a fun-filled week! Can't wait to travel with your Sims.
