Yes! Niceness is fine in small amounts, but it makes no sense when my sims who hate each other will do the mean interactions that I told them to do, and then immediately start doing friendly interactions autonomously. It's silly!
I'd like it if emotions in general were dialed back to allow the traits shine through. I also wish we got more traits when new packs come out. We've gotten a few, but not nearly enough. And especially since we can only pick three to start off with, a lot of my sims end up with nearly identical personalities, even if I try to give them different traits.
