A Punk Kit...

They  can do a new Goth kit. Goth has a lot of different categories. This one was more like cybergoth or something. I can use Vampire and Spellcasters to make other Goth outfits. But, I really want a Romantic gothic style. And more vampire goth clothes.

But I really need a punk set. More mo-hawks. The spikey kind and the broom looking one. That big ugly spikey hair from the 70s. But also the pop-punk spikey hair like Billy Joel Armstrong. Maybe they can give us a patch with 5 more colors. Deep purple. Lime green. Soft pink. But i also really want strawberry blonde in this game. I know it's not punk, but...I just want it. 

I want a healthy mix of retro punk and pop punk. Vests with pins, ripped jeans with chains, fingerless leather gloves, striped ripped pants, studded vests. Pins. Pins everywhere. A baker boy hat with pins. IDK if that's even punk, I just love bakerboy hats.  

I also want a skater pack. I think the Grunge kit is more skater than grunge. But I just want some arm sleeves and arm cuffs in skater kid patterns like checkerboard and stripes. Maybe a flippy mop top hair, too.

A better grunge kit would have been more eclectic. I mean, you have to use looks from all the groups of the big 4. I saw a lot of Nirvana. The over sized flannel that doesn't flatter any sim. There should have been leather jackets with fitted graphic tees. A single small hoop earring. More backwards caps. New long hair with a slight wave to it. Wrist cuffs. Non-baggy t-shirts.  Just like punks, grunge repurposes items from decades. Loosely tucked in t-shirts, too. Boots like Daria, and that big ugly jacket, too. I also wouldn't have minded Jane's outfit. Smudged eyeliner. 

An old knit sweater button down and Doc Martin's or Converse and a slip dresses is also grunge. Kurt Cobain wore a lot of open sweaters with graphic Tee's along with messy hair and used jeans. Grunge style for me is about shopping at the Goodwill or local thrift store. I'm looking for something old and something borrowed that I can refresh. Grunge for me is a messy style refined. 

yeah, it's kind of hard to put it in a box. Because you'll have different members from the same band with different styles. I think you described it best. It's thrifty. So, whatever look you can conjure up with what you have. I love grunge. I love how eclectic it is.  It's a little darker than boho, but it's got the same spirit.
