This also happens to me, using Origin. I’m almost certain that these pop-ups used to go away after you cleared them once, but now it seems like they keep popping up for days after a release. It’s super annoying. I agree with the advice above to start the game up while offline. I’ll probably do that from now on, actually. I only felt the need to be online while playing back when the gallery newsfeed was working. Now it doesn’t even matter.
