Controller integration for Sims 4 on PC

I would love for there to be a way to use my controller on PC without having to use a 3rd party program. I have health issues and sometimes it’s too difficult to sit at my desk to use the keyboard and mouse. I usually have to play other games that allow controllers when I really want to play Sims. I know that keyboard and mouse is the superior way to play, but it’s just not always possible.
