This issue has been determined to be functioning as designed currently.

Title explains the problem. My Sim who progressed through the Thanatology skill reached level 3 and unlocked the "Speak a Dead Language" interaction. I'd be fine with this if they'd stop speaking the language every waking moment of their lives. Whenever I leave them alone they go back to speaking the dead language to other Sims. To make matters worse, my Sim tends to fail the interaction, sometimes causing a "hurt" sentiment to appear. I believe this has been a problem for a while but I haven't seen any posts on this forum about it, so I'd like this to get to the devs' attention.
