Music career update needed

Are you able to use mods? Sims 4 Get Famous isn't at all focus on the Music Career, I'm sorry to say. There is a wonderful mod called Road to Fame by sacrificial. You'll want version v0.5D9. This is the latest and greatest. You'll get the use of both Get Famous celebrity points and the mods so your singer will rise to fame a bit faster. Plus, modeling is an aspect of this mod, too, which is where my Rock Star is able to attend photoshoots. I just use them as interviews/photos for magazines and such. Your star, when advanced far enough along in the Professional Singing skill will be able to make albums, which reap 750 Simoleons a piece in Royalities once released. Once the musician's LitPoints reach a certain number, opportunities to hold concerts begin.  You'll have a choice. You can send the Sim to an away concert (rabbit hole) or you can take them to a venue and start a concert where you can control the songs available on Karaoke (there is a special contraption for concert use that the mods supplies).

This mod is how I have survived. Erik Cantrell made it huge in Sims3 once Showtime was released. And while I prefer the garnering fame system in Sims 4 better, I'm also very sorry a professional music career isn't available. Also, have your musician write and license songs (not lyrics). After a time, they'll get a nomination. Go to the very next Starlight Accolades Show (they're on Sundays) and you may just win.
