I never really said much about how we don’t have a career for a pop/rock star when sims 4 first came out because it was pretty barebones. But I feel it’s been long enough now that not having a band/singer career is actually insane. We have Get Famous and the only active career they gave you was an actress.. that game pack is like 50 bucks and you only get one active career. I don’t even think they should release this as a pack but as an update to Get Famous for being long overdue. They’re so close yet just make a career or active game play for it like concerts, magazines, late night talk shows. Anything but more instruments and decor. We need more game play and more careers especially a singing career.

ShySky1999 the Entertainer Career has a Musician track, for pop/rock artists I usually stop at level 6 Serious Musician, because it's quite a vague title. Beyond that it's more towards the classical music genre. To release tracks I use the Media Production Skill and the Mix Master Music Station and I sign my Sim to a record label. I make a little recording studio as well. The new Music Den Kit has some great items to add to the musical stuff in Get Famous. It's all kind of cobbled together because we don't have an out and out Singing career.
My singing Sims give musical performances at different public lots and the famous ones get quite a bit of attention so it's just about doable. But bands would have been good! I agree it's something that Get Famous lacks.
