On the Sims 4 in base game there's no newspape

Is anybody else wanting to live off the grid but y'all are having trouble finding a generator a wind turn by the solar panels well I'm trying to live off the grid and base game and they don't even ha...

Many of us have said for years that they really need to bring back the newspaper. This last quarter with all of the retro/anniversary items would have been the perfect time to do it, and they didn't, so I'm not holding out a lot of hope anymore.
