Re: The Sims needs more LIFE, not more stuff. Let’s talk about it?

I really wish you guys would put more effort into the actual game instead of constantly giving us more packs and kits.

We already have so much stuff to buy. What the game really needs is deeper gameplay. Smarter Sims, better autonomy, relationships that actually feel different, more consequences, better family gameplay, better careers and businesses, and just more things that make the game feel alive.

Sometimes it feels like we need mods just to make the game more fun or realistic, and that honestly says a lot.

I don’t want another pack just because it comes with a cute world and some new furniture. I want updates that actually make me want to play the same family for generations without getting bored.

Please focus more on improving the game itself. We need more depth, not just more content.

jinoa08, Some of us can play for generations without getting bored. While more animations would be good, it costs too much for a 12 year old game. Btw, my forever save has a family on 30+ generations. What I do to get more joy out of my own game is use random dice rolls, set my own gameplay restrictions for a challenge, and attempt to re-explore parts of the game. I found it interesting to disable packs and then rediscover gameplay from older packs.
