Re: Sims 4 Multiplayer or Online

Dear EA and The Sims Team,

There is one feature that I genuinely think could completely change the way we play The Sims: a proper multiplayer mode.

I would absolutely pay for it — and I honestly believe a lot of other players would too.

Imagine being able to share the same Sims world with your friends or your partner. Each player could have their own household, live in the same neighbourhood, visit each other’s homes, go to restaurants and clubs together, throw parties, build houses together, get married, raise children, or simply experience everyday life in the same world.

And I don't mean a small online feature where you can briefly visit someone else's game. I mean a proper shared world that saves your progress, so you can come back another day and continue exactly where you left off.

You could even make it possible for multiple players to build a house together. One person could decorate the kitchen while the other works on the bedroom. Or you could have two households living next door to each other and actually interact with each other in real time.

The Sims already has so many systems that would make multiplayer incredibly fun: relationships, careers, families, parties, building, travelling, restaurants, clubs and so much more.

I know there would be technical challenges involved, but if EA created a multiplayer experience specifically designed for The Sims, rather than simply adding a basic online mode to the existing game, I genuinely think it could be something huge.

And yes — I would pay for it.

I really believe there is a large part of the Sims community that would be willing to pay for a well-made multiplayer experience.

So, EA, please consider it.

We don't just want to play with our Sims alone anymore.

We want to create chaos with our friends.
