I have the same problem with enraged moodlet. I tried both cheating and making my sim angry through actions and angry drawings, etc.

She remained in enraged state for hours until her angry moodlets disappeared and she became happy and confident again.

Also, the confident emotion is very interruptin. Especially if you want to kill a sim by anger. If your sim is a sim you raised and they were a confident kid... good luck with killing them by anger. Theyre constantly JUST confident. Its really not good especially since it's very easy for child sims to become confident adults.
