Re: Newborn Diapers and Bottles Left on Floor

I think this is an intended update. Changing diaper on newborn or infant (probably toddler as well, but haven’t tested that far) creates a dirty diaper object on the floor. You then have to queue throwing the diaper out as a separate action.

I have a feeling "diaper genies" or something similar will be in the new expansion pack, I hope I'm not wrong because that'll be soo helpful and plain dumb of them not to add....fingers crossed!

Not only is there a diaper disposal in Growing Together, if you have Laundry Day you can choose "Use cloth diapers" in the baby care menu, and the diapers will become laundry going into your laundry basket!

Though there is currently a bug where newborn diaper laundry still lands on the floor.

I was using cloth diapers WITHOUT growing together and it worked better than WITH growing together?

I have the laundry pack. You can use cloth diapers in base game, but the diapers still go on the floor and not in the hamper if you have a hamper in the room. Even the maid won't clean up those diapers.

I have growing together and the diaper bin. But my sims still throw them on the floor too 

@Mowat316 Do they throw it on the floor when they change at the changing table with the diaper pail slotted into it? I think that’s the only situation where the diaper will go in the pail. I think if you change the diaper somewhere else ( not at a changing table with pail) the diaper goes on the floor… with the exception being if you are using cloth diapers and have both a laundry basket and the Laundry Day pack.
