Re: Please make teen pregnancy a part of the game. Also add Ballet like in Freeplay

@gwmurra11 They can not make teen pregnancy part of the game because of the age rating.
There are a ton of things that can happen in real life that wouldn't be put in a game like this, many of which a lot of people wouldn't like to see anyway. It would also be impossible to put everything possible in life into a game.

But I do agree with you on ballet! I would like to see that! 😊

@gwmurra11 it's a bit of a complex issue the teen pregnancy thing. I get what you mean though. I have a teen couple in the game who have left school so I'm ageing them as 18. They are now both in successful careers, although only the part time careers are available to them.

As a back story, one left home after her dad's death and took his house as his ghost is at her grandparents house. It was my first life and death storyline. So it seemed plausible that she would take her inheritance and move to a different family home aged 18, get a part time job and grow up early but it's left her with the Macabre trait. She ended up getting expelled deliberately as her career was going so well she couldn't focus on school too. Plus she's a genius and over achiever and school wasn't making her happy, which is something I've seen IRL. Her teenage sweetheart did well at school and once they sat down with both families and were accepted he moved in to her house after graduation (I used a cheat for that). I'm going to age them up later to get them married and to have a family.

I think the limitation with the game is that teen is kind of a fixed point and is at the school age of teen. It doesn't distinguish between say 14 and 19 year olds. Whereas my real life best friends were settled in their own home starting a family by age 19. It's difficult for the game mechanics to allow for that. Teens can get married at 18 anyway IRL but again that's hard to depict in the game.

I'd love to see ballet in the game though. It would be amazing and would be especially cool if it could be for all age groups.

@simsplayer818 that is a good point as well! I was completely different as a 13 year old than I was as a 19 year old.  And I have a few relatives and friends who got married at 19. But those kinds of nuances are too complex for the game as it is.
@gwmurra11 , Then there is the fact that having children is difficult at any age, and teens are not done developing physically or mentally, so it would be irresponsible for a company to promote teen pregnancy. We shouldn't make light of their problems for our entertainment.
