Regarding the Unauthorized Redistribution of Numerous SIMS Series CC on inZOI
Currently on inZOI Canvas, many users are modifying and distributing CC originally made for The Sims 3 and The Sims 4 without the original creators’ permission. I believe this issue stems from multiple factors: the lack of a review system for mesh data uploads on inZOI Canvas, the existence of a ranking system within the platform, and the behavior of some users who seem willing to do anything to climb the rankings.
I understand that views on copyright can differ greatly depending on the country a user lives in, the individual, or even the policies of the game developers. However, I personally believe that distributing content made by others—especially content that required significant time and effort—as if it were your own work should never be acceptable.
This issue is not limited to Sims; it is also spreading to other games and metaverse platforms. In fact, several Second Life creators have already spoken out on social media to raise awareness. I sincerely hope that EA will take some kind of action to help reduce the unauthorized redistribution of CC that was created with care and dedication for The Sims series.
Please forgive my poor English.
