The Sims 4 will be/is the forever installment of The Sims continuity. It's been 10 years strong and dozens of expansion, stuff, and kit packs. The game is concurrently released with Civilization VI and the upcoming Civilization VII. I've been a TS2 player for 20 years and I'm on indefinite hiatus for long.
