Slightly concerned about the next update...

So I was creating a sim when I noticed a skill called Apothecary. Which is uh, not good. It's selling medicine and [)®ug$.

I can understand the medicine thing since it's a nature pack but I don't think simulating selling "that" stuff is a good idea. (Unless the Sims team calls it something different like they did with the Wine/Nectar situation but even then Wine is legal while "that" isn't)

So yeah, hope we get an explanation for this... 😰

(Also sidenote I tried posting this on Reddit but the moderators weren't having it. 😠)

  • Technically speaking most  [)®ug$ are medicine that is produced illegally without a license or quality checks and used illegally without a prescription. If people got high on antibiotics and used them for fun, they would be considered [)®ug$. The apothecary is more like homeopathic remedies, not as strong as pharmacy standard medicine, though you can certainly get some funny and not so pleasant side effects from ingesting the wrong herbs and plants, like for example poison mushrooms.
