Hey so the Sims 2 they have snow days kids don't go to school in the Sims 4 they literally have a blizzard and Sims are running inside yet Sims kids are still expected to go to school how about having Blizzard snow Day when there's no school and work?
Right but in a blizzard Sims are literally running inside don't matter if there's no snow on the ground I imagine it be icy roads like black ice they way the Sims running in the door but yet kids still got to go to school especially HSY.
I dont want to use vacation day because it's not vacation I would like a snow day like they did in Sims 2 but a blizzard you can freeze to death and all.
Gameplay-wise they are functionally so, yes, but I'm saying that visibly the snow doesn't stack, it's just a retexture.
I don't experience small dustings of snowfall in my game because of my settings.
Blizzards are no joke in this game and if your sims gets caught in one with no indoor options available...they freez to death and could die.
I'm aware, I'm just being silly. I'm talking about how there is no snow depth - snow is just a retexture of everything, so even during blizzards, you still only have a dusting of snow on the ground.
You can set snow levels in options under Environment if you have the Seasons EP.
My game is set for blizzards for a full winter effect in game.
Edit: You can also turn off all weather effects in the game when you please.
I guess since they never get more than a dusting on the ground in The Sims 4, the schools never have to close. 🤷♀️lol
I use the vacation days that accumulate with grade school attendance. I can take a whole summer off or create my own snow days/school holidays with their available vacation time. She has 33 days of vacation time and it's spring in the game.
I would like the idea of having a blizzard snow day set in the calendar system under school/work.
