I agree 100%
This type of in-game advertising is intrusive and forced on the player. The game hasn't been the same since this in-game ad/challenge started.
Other version of the game(sims 3) have had advertising within the game and you could always opt out.
Players should always have the option to opt out of challenges in game.
They should be able to close the advertisements for new DLC in their game if they are not interested in buying. I can do this in sims 3.
