Hello everyone,
So my question and speculation is really simple: Do you think we'll have more musical instruments in future packs?
As we know some people speculate a lot about a music band and a music pack but if I remember well, the previous games (sims 1, 2, 3) the musical instruments were Piano, Guitar, Drums, Bass, Synthesizer, Violin and the lazer intrument from into the future. So only Drums, Bass and Synthetizers are missing (knowing that The sims 3 didn't have synthesizers). We also had Organ Pipe and Dj Mixing (if we count that one) in the Sims 4.
So do you think we would have more than Drums and bass in the future or will it be these two only (if they even come)? And if so, What kind of instruments do you think we'll get? I hope we can have Saxophones; Harps; Accordéons; Djembés; Kayagum and more...

I love that in The Sims 4, you can play instruments, but I don't like that there are so few. The piano, violin, and guitar are great, and with the Vampires pack, the organ is a nice touch as well, but I'd enjoy it if there were more instruments in base game, like a cello, flute, trumpet, or even different saxophones. To add, it'd be nice if Sims could play instruments together, like a duet or an ensemble or something.
@MJTiny Hello! Yes, please! This has come up fairly often in requests over the years and I've added my "me too" to all that I've seen. It would be so great to have more instruments and to have some ensembles in which sims can play together; orchestra, chamber music, rock bands (with singers too), etc. I'd like to have some of this added to Base Game of course but I would also pay for a full Music pack that includes expanded Musician careers, concert venues and recording studios. I too would like other musical instruments in the game. Flute, cello, trumpet and saxophones would be very enjoyable to have our sims play. It would be lovely seeing them playing them together. It would also be a great way of building up friendships between sims.
I would definitely purchase a pack that expanded music with a couple of different drums ie traditional set, bongos and steelpan… maybe some classical instruments and some medieval instruments… all with appropriate music to learn and maybe some new songs for performances or karaoke. The ability to jam with other sims or as a family group or even form bands and have performances and concerts. Maybe even a battle of the bands competition given we already have karaoke and open mike nights in the game.
