My suggestion comes from a store that one of my Sims has, but doesn't have the variety of items that he needs to sell. What are those items, you might ask? Musical instruments that are not another guitar or piano.
The idea is to have a Music Expansion Pack. And this expansion pack not only includes other musical instruments like drums, saxophone, trumpet, etc.But also can include a music career where one can be a Rock Star. I already know that the base game has the Entertainment Career, where you have a musician, but I haven't experienced any of my Sims become Legendary Rock Stars. There isn't a Music Superstar in the Get Famous Expansion pack. This music pack can also be good for High School Years and Discover University to have the Teen and Young Adult Sims be a part of a Marching Band. Otherwise, this Music Pack can have lots of cross play potential with other packs.
@SimSeeker this gets asked a lot so I'm sure we'll see something along these lines at some point. It's such a popular request and it seems like an obvious addition to the game. The music career as it is isn't really what many players seem to be looking for. I imagine the tricky thing might be getting bands to work, so if they're thinking about it I guess that's the bit that might possibly be the hold up.
But I'm crossing my fingers we see this, it would be awesome!

- @SimSeeker Oh gosh I love this! I really miss bands. Like it would be amazing if this was a career similar to the actor careers where you have to follow your sim to work. That would be amazing. Like you could audition for bands or create your own band through asking sims to join. the workday would start at like 3pm and you either go to a studio for practice (like in get to work) or to a gig venue (like in get famous or the interior desing pack) Then you'd have to audition for gigs, but as your rating goes up you get asked more and more to do gigs. You follow them to gigs, could also get sims reactions to the songs you choose to play similar to the DJing activity. And it would be hilarious if your band as they get more sucessful had an option to 'Play new material' which will either fail massively and leave all sims with a negative moodlet or go really well and give all the sims a positive moodlet.
