So my question and speculation is really simple: Do you think we'll have more musical instruments in future packs?
As we know some people speculate a lot about a music band and a music pack but if I remember well, the previous games (sims 1, 2, 3) the musical instruments were Piano, Guitar, Drums, Bass, Synthesizer, Violin and the lazer intrument from into the future. So only Drums, Bass and Synthetizers are missing (knowing that The sims 3 didn't have synthesizers). We also had Organ Pipe and Dj Mixing (if we count that one) in the Sims 4.
So do you think we would have more than Drums and bass in the future or will it be these two only (if they even come)? And if so, What kind of instruments do you think we'll get? I hope we can have Saxophones; Harps; Accordéons; Djembés; Kayagum and more...

I think at this point, it's safe to say that nearly the entire community of Sims players would like more instruments. Particularly different kinds of instruments that make sense given what the game has already indicated as important values in this in-game world (jazz, particularly). I'd like to see a way not only for there to be bands, but jazz bands, and symphony orchestras. I also agree that it would be great if many of the musical instruments could be crafted (woodworking, robotics, etc.). Lastly, I think that The Sims team can really challenge themselves and their creativity to imagine something truly unique: an instrument that only exists in The Sims world, and that can only be played by Sims. Lean into the fact that The Sims isn't an exact mirror of reality, it's a fun reality, and imagine what kind of instrument might exist in that world. I'd love to see (and hear) what it would be.
