Words Extension Instead of New Words?

Recently, The Sims 4 has introduced a lot of new worlds, but even though there are many, they still feel small and insufficient. Because of this, on one hand, I have plenty of space, but on the other hand, I feel there’s no way to expand further, since drastically changing the environment breaks immersion.

Back in the day, The Sims Unleashed didn’t provide a new world; instead, it expanded the existing one.

It made me wonder if it's possible to do something like that with The Sims 4. For example if you have Cats and Dogs, Brindleton Bay looks like it is, but with other expansion we have different area of the same world available. Something like that:
