@ReneHollyDesign1 You can't help but think of Sims as a game I mean, when is it the last time you walked past a werewolf! 😃
I was disappointed with the 'Laundry Day' pack. As someone who adores doing the laundry, I thought it would be cute to see my sims doing theirs then hanging them out to dry. After my sim finished hanging out the clothes I noticed that the clothes they hung out looked nothing like theirs! I thought "Funny, where did she get those clothes from?"
Ha ha ha that is so funny. When I saw the gameplay for the Bust the Dust kit I thought "ya that would be fun first time you tried it" and was not tempted at all. I see most people who have it block it with the James Turner block. I can see why.
Werewolf's and Aliens, mermaids, plant sims. So funny say they certain packs are a must have for the realism. LOL

Probably, @ReneHollyDesign1 the 'Bust the Dust' kit is the only interesting kit for me. I heard it was a bit buggy... Still wouldn't pay full price mind you!!

I think the amount of colour swatches determines the value of the kit. So I found that a kit like Book Nook is great value and well worth the £5. It has 2 different types of sofa, living chairs and infinite combinations of shelving and bookcases, plus more (as long as the slotting problem doesn't get you). Pastel Pop is another. It adds beds, tables, seating and shelving in many different colour combinations. Decor to the Max I've already mentioned, really adds a lot.
So each kit is very different in terms of being worth the money. I'd say to anyone who isn't sure if they're worth it, find a detailed breakdown and count the colour swatches rather than the items. They might be pleasantly surprised with some of them and perhaps disappointed with others (Cough, Country Kitchen 👎).
I've spoken to a few people recently who just got the free base game, younger players using pocket money. If they want more build items but are on a tight budget, I recommend a few of the build kits to them. But I do think the occasional 3 for 2 would be great, even just at Xmas or a free kit with an expansion pack. I'm adding Horse Ranch and First Fits tomorrow and I won't get the discount on Horse Ranch as I'm on Xbox...at least I don't think I will but I'll see when it's made available as it's not there for pre order.

@simsplayer818 Yes, I totally understand the younger players with the kits especially as it's cheaper. I hope you enjoy your new packs, I would love to know what you think of them!
Depending on sales, I probably won't get the 'Horse Ranch' pack until next year!!
Thanks again for your input, it always makes an interesting read.

@simsplayer818 Let's hope you have a bug free game... Especially after waiting so long. 🤞

@simsplayer818 I think your idea of 3 for 2 is an excellent idea! I do like some of the kits too.
