I know this was a few years ago, but I found this post on Google searching for a solution and I just had to respond to this answer. Why is having to look at my sims with ugly random squiggly lines on their legs a "fact of life"?
Also, isn't aging a fact of life? But you let us disable that, so why not this? Seems more than a little arbitrary to me.
Frankly, I don't understand why EA would have such a smug attitude in response to player feedback instead of giving the customer what they want. It's 3 years later and this "feature" is still a sucky annoyance that makes me want to downgrade to an earlier version.
Seriously, start listening to your players. Do you know how ugly this looks on sims with green hair? She looks like she has some kind of disease. I keep removing the hair in CAS but it keeps growing back, apparently because EA thinks it's "a fact of life".
