broken lot in Newcrest??
So I have a problem with Newcrest. There 40x30 lot in Newcrest that seems to be broken. For some reason when I place a house down from my library and go back to manage worlds the game continues to lo...
I answered these questions in my previous posts but no, I did not use the same house and I ran into the same problem in my clean save which is why I reached out for support. I do not have any residential rentals because I do not have the For Rent expansion pack. I also experienced something new when I tried to put down a different house on a different lot from my library it said "corrupted file" and gave me the option to delete that house yet it's still there. All I know is lately it's been frustrating to play this game.
When I noticed the constant loading I went to my other saves and tried random homes on that same lot and again ran into the same problem. That's when I decided to remove my game folder to my desktop, repaired my game and recreate a new game folder. Slowly I put the saves back in along with events files and tray folder, tray deleted items and left the rest as is removing cache etc. Then I created a new game with a new sim and began repopulating that save with my saved sims and a few homes I saved in my library along with other builds from the gallery. Everything was going fine until I got to that lot in Newcrest. First I placed a house down from build mode and as I tried to go back to mange worlds it began to constantly load. So I forced exited the game and tried to place a home down from map view and it continued to load again and I had to shut the game down once more. Each time I would try different lot types as well as different residential homes on that specific lot and still had the same problem. Also when I repopulated my new save I did use the same sims from the previous save but I didn't have an issues placing any home from any other lots until the Newcrest one. I think another issue could be some builds from the gallery are faulty and that may also have added to it but I'm not sure.
