Choices after aspirations are no longer showing

Hello,

 I can no longer see or pick choices that used to show after you picked your aspirations then you went to the next area to interest (like cooking, computers,reading etc) then you could pick personality traits (such as animal enthusiast, good or snob etc), but now only type of death and your aspiration choice show in build sims. Is there showing I can do to get them to show again?
