Is for rent worth It?

I was thinking of buying for rent lately but I heard It causes save corruption and has many bugs, Is It true? I know It's definitely not worth the money but If I do buy It, will It completely break my game or not?

  • Hi! I bought For Rent last year. I enjoyed the gameplay, but it is buggy. I have not had the the big bad bug where save files are corrupted. It is worth buying if you are willing to put up with all the bugs. I build more than play and the build and buy is good.

  • It corrupts my save files. I lost a 25 generation 3 year save. Started over without for rent went a month and my dumb butt decided to download it again and it corrupted that one! Build mode barley works with it, it turns my pictures and painting black, my sims glitch and like won't move. And eventually it does something and my save file will just like disappear. I play on Xbox. I wish I could get my money back for it.

  • The only bugs I've experienced are with lot and emergency events. Nothing as bad as losing saved files mentioned below, but I love For Rent! Converting multi-floor buildings into residential lots, the night market, swimming in Tomarang.

I do not regret buying this pack.

  • For Rent worked fine for me until I started downloading lots from the gallery, the lots got corrupted where they disappeared. From what I understand the Rental lots on the gallery are bugged and I'm not sure if that can ever be fixed.

After that I tried to just play with the existing premade household and I found playing as a landlord frustrating as the tenant seems to believe that they are the ones in charge.

I still have the pack installed because I think the CAS items are gorgeous but I am not playing it anymore.
