Re: Add and remove sentiments

Um, I know this is a bit old (sorry), but do you know if there's a cheat to get rid of the Suspicious Sentiment? My Sim got it from her teacher out of the blue on the first Day of High School and it's murdering her mood.

@iamsweetmystery If you are able and willing to use mods, you can use MCCC or UI cheats extention to get rid of sentiments. If not, there are actual cheat codes for this, but I'm not sure of the exact sentiment tag for "Suspicious" (if it's a long term or short term, or generic one). You'd input in the cheats console: modifyrelationship firstname lastname firstname2 lastname2 -100 and then add the sentiment tag, if you can find that.

@iamsweetmysteryIn the meantime, btw, if you can't find the needed tag or it's not working right (or if you just decide to wait it out), you can cheat away the negative buffs she's getting: sims.remove_buff [BuffName]

EDIT: I haven't used this code in a while and somewhere it seems like I heard this might have been disabled, so I can't guarantee it'll still work, but at least last time I tried it, it did 😬

@Moozilla13 - Can't use mods for this save. PS4 version. I used Moodlet Solver Potions to get rid of the Moodlet, but it took 3 to get through the school day. Fortunately, she graduated early at the end of that day, but it's bound to happen again eventually.

@iamsweetmystery Gotcha. Yeah, without mods, cheats like the ones above (there's also one to increase aspiration points to buy the potion) are your only option other than just waiting it out, but I know on PS4 that disables achievements so it's kind of a catch-22 :/ (Formerly a console player myself so trust me, I can empathize)

@Moozilla13 - No catch-22 here. lol. I have 4 pages of printed cheats and have a few dozen memorized. Besides, cheats can be used to bug-fix (like fixing plants affected by the gardening glitch). I have 50% of the trophies, and if I want more, I can start another save. Cheats are more important than trophies. I cheat regularly for a variety of reasons, including giving new Sims the childhood traits they missed out on because of the age they were created as.

@iamsweetmystery personally, I agree, since I've never been an achievement hunter. I know that's important to some players, though, and in the beginning it did chafe me a bit. But it didn't take me long to decide cheats were a muuuuch bigger priority in this game :P
