Re: Adding height to The Sims 4 or maybe it will be a Sims 5 edition
@SimmeringPassion @Vatzfu I've been using a height slider mod for quite some time now. The animations aren't perfect but they aren't all that bad either-- they don't look any worse than it does for very heavy Sims in a vanilla non-modded game. It does not look abstract in any way, no merging Sims, nothing like that at all. Things do look slightly off if a very tall Sim kisses a short Sim, but for things like holding hands, hugs, etc., the animations look pretty good. For interactions with things around the house, like washing hands in a sink, cooking on a stove, etc., all of that looks fine. All of my CAS clothing items adjust fine for very tall or very short Sims. Just to clarify, I'm not creating any freakishly tall or short Sims, I'm keeping all Sims between +/- 20% of normal height. As well as this mod works, I know there are many players who prefer not to use mods (very understandable) and console players don't even have the option, so I 100% agree it would be awesome if EA could add this feature to the game.
Anyhow I am quite happy with the height slider mod I am using & hopefully it wasn't broken by the last game patch! (I haven't yet installed the latest game patch because I'm still waiting for updates on other mods).
