@03esj2ja2yg7 How you delete the room best varies by the area it's in, if it touches outside walls, etc. If it's a lot you have Sims living in I would save then go into the lot by through edit mode instead of live/play mode. Also, when you're doing your changes, don't save until you know everything went right and nothing was deleted you didn't want deleted.
Turn off MOO (Move Objects On cheat), if you have it on. I usually delete things with it on because sometimes other objects can be effected by deleting a room, but in this case if you have enlarged objects in the area and things are not deleting for you, I would do it with MOO off. That won't leave some objects behind that MOO would.
Move anything you don't want to lose in the room into your inventory.
Is the room a complete room? If you activate the select tool and have the walls up and click on one wall of the room, does the whole room get selected, or just one wall? If only one wall selects at a time, the room is not a separate/complete room. You can try deleting it wall by wall with the sledgehammer &/or the wall tool.
Ways you can try deleting a complete/separate room...
- Select the room and drag the wall on one side all the way to the other, then delete the wall that's left. Use the sledgehammer to delete any objects left behind that you don't want (or that are buggy).
- If that doesn't work you can try deleting it wall by wall with the sledgehammer.
- If that's not working you can draw a complete room around that room, then drag the sides of the new big room to the opposite side like my first directions mention.
- If it's not deleting because something is bugged out and stuck in or under the floor, you can sledgehammer the floor (then sledgehammer any object that's left under the floor on the ground) then re-draw all of the room walls to make it a complete room (you hear a 'thunk' sound and see a faint dust animation when the room is complete). When the room completes that way it should re-builds the floor and ceiling, if either is missing.
If none of that fixes the issue, leave the game without saving those tests. You could then let me know here and upload the lot to the gallery, calling it something like 'Testing Lot' or some other name that may tell people not to download it, then let me know the name of it here and it you have a different user name in the gallery (so I can find it). I could then download it and try in my game, then show you what worked, if I find a solution. Sharing a screenshot of what room it is (or a very good description to find it) would be important if I was testing it, plus sharing a screenshot of the room may prove helpful in troubleshooting anyway.
