@FluidPanNerd yeah thats honestly probably the biggest benefit to the early purchase (purchase before sept 2) bonus items in real life if one doesn't already own Discover University or Eco-Lifestyle (and of course being able to actually play the pack lol).

I have an issue that began after installing the latest Cottage Living Add on. The Chefs at Restaurants, regardless if is an unmanaged restaurant or one I own, the Chef (s) stand still outside the restaurant for almost four REALTIME minutes!!!! They wait outside the restaurant huffing and puffing while the restaurant gets full with clients at the tables and THEN, 3-4 real minutes later they walk in and do their jobs. Been taking out my MODS and the issue still there. Anyone else experienced this?
This was a reported bug on this forum years ago, and supposedly got fixed with a patch later on.

This happens outside my house too. The only option is a quit and restart!
I have 'broken arm' animations happening all over the place. Books, milk drinking, pet grooming...

In 'game options' under 'music' there are still too many sliders. One of them scrolls the page down so you can't see any of the music! X)

Playing around with the game, I decided to put just milk into a H-on-B fair, I got NOTHING! X)

@FluidPanNerd The bike is a good idea and works quite well, but racks up bodybuilding skill, which is just another unwanted skill in a list of unwanted skills. Just because I run does not mean I'm a marathon runner, or because I gain air when falling down the stairs that I'm learning to fly! 😉
- FluidPanNerd5 years agoSeasoned Ace@tommynocker001 It builds fitness fairly slowly if the only fitness you're doing is biking from one place to another, you *might* just keep your sim in shape. But people here have provided you with options and solutions and you're shutting them down left and right. If you don't like the game, why even play?
- tommynocker0015 years agoSeasoned Veteran
@FluidPanNerd Not at all. I've purchased a bicycle and use it to fetch and carry all the mushrooms and fruits in the area. It was a smart idea... it's just that skill.
I wish there was a way to choose whether I want a bicycle to fetch and carry mushrooms or train to be an Olympiad. The idea that I choose to not have that skill is taken away from me. It would be a simple fix, that one. Have all skills (max 3) develop in the background and allow me to choose which skills I want to appear in the skill bars. Have a max of four skill bars when a sim is new and allow us, the players, to buy more skill bars from the rewards store as and when we choose, if we choose.
Nobody is being shut down or brushed aside here, all players are welcome to have an approach or ideas; I've incorporated some and struggled with others, but listened to all.
Why play? I've been with the sims since the first, always enjoyed the game in all it's various forms, but always been left wanting... a little more gameplay.

Those birds are so contrary...
Dislike gift; Drink... milk.
But like gift; milk! 🙂

Water Recycler upgrade does not seem to work on the Mt. Komorebi ofuro. It's the closest thing I could find to look like a water trough for my cows... I like the idea that sims can bathe in it too! 🙂

Gnomes are fun! However, animated gnomes need to become a little more... reasonable... about the sheer number of seed packets they are depositing upon my lawn!

What are the chances of getting a 'hover over' icon that shows the current track playing on the stereo?
- xmayuux5 years agoNew Traveler@SpookyDiver I have the same issue! There is still the bug where you can't lvl up stuff in restaurants to get more cooks or employees in general.
I was visiting my own and the base game restaurant. Both same issue, stacking infront of the restaurant, takes for ever to get a table to sit on, and also the icon for ordering just stays for ever. - AppleBlossom35 years agoRising Adventurer
I have the same problem as other people about the mayor not judging the fairs fairly. I'm not sure this is a bug. Maybe you are supposed to bribe the mayor to get a better finish.
Something I've noticed that is a bug is when foxes take an egg or harvestable. I asked the fox to drop the egg and it stayed with its mouth open like it was still holding it. Another fox took a bell pepper. The bell pepper appeared on the ground and the fox was running around with its mouth open like it had the pepper.
Another thing with foxes is that they don't remember their gifts. If i gift them something that thing gets marked with a thumbs up or down so you know if they liked it. But if I close the game, next time I open it, it will be like I never gifted them anything.
One thing I'm disappointed with is a new deco item called Herb the Posy Protector. It looks like a gnome but does not behave like one. I was disappointed I couldn't appease it like the gnome riding the chicken.
Speaking of gnomes, this is probably not CoL related but I made a holiday that included the appease gnomes tradition. I was at the Gnomes Arms pub and appeased the gnomes there. I left the lot. The holiday ended. Next time I go back the gnomes still have the halos on their heads. I think it had to do with me leaving the lot before the holiday ended.
And speaking of holidays, again not CoL related, I participated in the Neighborhood Brawl. It's not supposed to affect relationships with other sims. And while the relationship bar remains the same, I gain negative sentiments from other sims because of the fighting.
I've noticed a few other things but I'm grateful I haven't experienced any of the major problems Ive heard other people have had.

@AppleBlossom3 I keep finding harvestables dropped just outside my property... so that's what that is! X)

If you drop the haloed gnome into your inventory before the holiday ends, they remain haloed and continue to drop seed packets... forever. Or until you become sick of picking up seed packets and sell them!

A-OK Bloomer Vertical Garden plants that are evolved do not count towards the Freelance botanist aspiration "evolve 5 different plants".

I just got my "First Place Ribbon" for a perfect Nightly Mushroom in the H-on-B Fair! Someone's been busy! X)
Thanks Devs! 🙂

If you put a little heart tag next to a festival it moves it to the LAST thing on the list, rather than the first...

Just got a "Cowflower quality; normal $150 **DEBUG**"
I was going to plant it and see what happens... but it disappeared! X)
I should have eaten it!
- tommynocker0015 years agoSeasoned Veteran
Submitted my cow for entry in the S-on-B fair and lined up my milk for entry, but before I had a chance to submit my milk entry George Watson stole my podium with his Normal Chocolate Milk entry. Now I'm reliably told that I cannot enter my milk as "I already have an entry" and my enriched milk entry sits in my inventory...

Save the best for last...
I did notice today that the gnomes kept giving seed packets. I picked up like 30 more off the ground. Next time I open my game I' m going to sledgehammer them and replace them.
- tommynocker0015 years agoSeasoned Veteran
If you invite Agatha Crumplebottom over to your lot, she'll do something to your gnomes... plants and fertilizers have started appearing! Stand by with the sledgehammer in case it's not temporary... X)
- AppleBlossom35 years agoRising Adventurer@tommynocker001 lol, I'm going to have to try that!

@tommynocker001 Are you aware that bugs are best posted in the bug forum with one thread per issue ? It's easier to track than a collection thread like this.
