Re: Forest Hideaway-Hidden Away?
@Aleksandra122003 I just went into "Forest Hideaway" in Granite Falls and bulldozed the house. This is what the terrain looks like without the house:
Since in your screenshot you still have the plants, can I assume you didn't delete the home via the bulldoze? Please try using the bulldozer to see if this helps remove the footprints. You could also try using the sledgehammer tool on the footprints.
In my lot if I then bulldoze the terrain, this is what the ground looks like:
There are no footprints, and the other terrain paint looks different, plus yours has added plants. I have a few thoughts:
- Did you try to bulldoze the terrain? This is not the same as the eraser tool. To bulldoze terrain click the bulldozer icon, then from the dropdown select bulldoze terrain - the bottom option.
- You could try a game repair [ Open Origin, click 'Game Library' then right-click Sims 4 > Repair Game ].
- Where did the home come from that was on the lot before you bulldozed the home? Is it the one that came with the game, or a renovation downloaded from the gallery? Did you ever play it as a crime scene?
- If you downloaded a lot from the gallery there could have been a crime scene that was not properly cleaned up.
If the footprints are from a crime scene, and cannot be deleted via normal methods, there is a method that has worked for some people:
Please try renting a house next to this one, move in, then go with the sim to visit the other house (visit the house with the problem). Then re-try editing the house again and see if the footprints have cleared out.
I look forward to hearing back from you on these thoughts.
