@NachoChezDonut   Hi!  If you enable the bb.moveobjects cheat before deleting the room, then any objects in place should remain.  Keep in mind that if you remove the room below and accidentally move one of those in-ground gravestones, it might move to the area above and you will have to create the room below to raise it back into place. 

Have you tried adding some lighting to the basement room to get rid of the shadows?  Would you mind sharing some screen shots of your build?  Someone here might have an idea about how to get rid of the shadows.
