Yes in that it's got a better processor, more video memory and bigger hard drive. All though slower than an solid state drive (SSD). But that can be added at a later date.

I have a better feeling with this one than I do the other MSI, just because it does have more video memory, and bigger hard drive.

MSI GL62M 7RDX-1408 - It's got a better processor, but only has 2GB of video memory where the other (MSI GV62 8RD-200) has 4 GB of memory.

I'd personally rather have the more video memory, and then add an SSD later if need be.

Comparing all 3 against each other and what would I pick.

I'd go for the MSI GV62 8RD-200 as it's got the better video card and video memory.

If you find it's 1 TB hard drive too slow for you when loading games, you can purchase a solid state drive (SSD) later on to help with that.

I feel you get a little more for the money and you can't upgrade a video card on a laptop.

I'm thinking because there is a lot of different model in the GV62 line of MSI laptops.

Ah.. And the date it first became available on Amazon was June 1, 2018. So that could be another reason.

Sorry but I'm not doing a comparison with the multitude of different PCs mentioned in this thread.
