gave this a test and it's working fine for me

Try the following

• Close the game
• Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
• Repair the game
• Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry. Be aware that your claimed event rewards will also be gone for the time being but you will get them back with your other things.
• Start a new save game
• Check if you still have the error
• Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

Hey apologies for the delay!!

I just made an entirely new save file/game with no mods and now the same error is happening.  I'm so frustrated and I'm surprised I'm the only person with this issue at this point xD

I was going to just start everything over again.  I renamed the older folder The Sims 4-Old and started up the game like it was new, made a new Sim.  Figured I'd start with 0 mods and add them back in 1 by one.  So when I made the Sim and waited until 8pm and it weirdly didn't work.  I am so sorry I really appreciate you trying to help me though xD
