Re: Top surgery scars wont show up in create a sim

Same here I am really disappointed as someone who identifies as trans. EA seems to have lots of money driven things. Just in my opinion

  • I have tried with one of my sims even tried changing to a masc frame. It has not worked I'm honestly kind of upset not with the sims team but EA in some ways.

  • @lilmando18strange, I'll admit it was a bit tricky but it did work for me. I played yesterday (sunday)...

Edit: When I started the game today it did work again. This time I started a new game from scratch, I didn't change anything on the caracter. The first thing I did was to click on the upper body to see if the top scar option was there, and it was.

Marked as Solution for Visibility. This needs more details to decide if there's any more bugs.

I really feel this thread is a bit of a collection now and OP has unfortunately not come back to elaborate more. The scars are clearly visible on all of their pictures.

    1. Either Frame for Females do not have the scars (This is not a bug. It's in the patch notes that they are for males only)

    2. The whole category is missing if you use Change Sim. This is an old bug that has been there since the category was introduced and already has a thread here so please use this one: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/W-Can-t-Add-Body-Scars-Without-cas-fulleditmode/td-p/11566933

If you have ANY other issue than the two listed above, please elaborate what you are seeing.

  • I am aware that it only works on male sims, they still do not show up as an option with or without mods

  • @lilmando18 It really pisses me off it’s only for “men.” My sim is a transgender female and I can’t put the scar on because they’re now “biologically female.” It seems a bit invalidating to me

@gNATalie_Kate   Maybe I'm misunderstanding (if so I'm sorry), but if your sim is a transgender woman, the configuration should look like this (open the picture in a new tab to see better)

If your trans sim's gender identity is female, she will not have the scars because she will want to have the breasts, not remove them. Contrarily, if your trans sim's gender identity is male then breast scars will be present.

There is also to keep in mind that the female frame (whether your sim is cis or trans) always has a bra by default, so any scars from a breast augmentation would also remain hidden underneath.

Yeah but femme non-binary people exist.

So people who are still have some feminine traits but don't want breasts.

All women who have breast cancer technically get top surgery.
