Re: Whenever i save my game in Sims 4 it saves as an insanely high number.

Anytime I save a sims game it automatically calls it "Save 4803" or some other ridiculously high number in the 4000's despite me only having 5 saves at the moment. Even in the entirety of this account, I couldn't have over 50 I don't think. Definitely not 4000. My game has also been very slow (even for a Macbook) it's almost unplayable. Could these be linked? Is there some 4000 saves hidden somewhere I don't know about that are wrecking my game? how do I fix this????

@BethanyhasWifi Are you referring to a version? Mine have 'ver' followed by the number at the back of slot 000000x. Plus, as of now, I only have 3 saved files.

Not sure how the numbers work. I thought for sure mine would be much higher than 1100.

Did you ever load a save downloaded from somewhere? Sometimes the person putting up the save will give it a very high number to reduce the chances it might interfere with player's existing saves. Your game would just pick up the numbers from there.

Also, the game lag is par-for-the-course. The game has too much in it. It's falling into the same problem as Sims 3. Too many packs poorly written causing too much lag.

If you have ECO Lifestyles, Cottage Living, or Paranormal... each of these causes an ENORMOUS amount of lag. Disable them and the game will run much better.
