I can complete tasks for this event. Save and exit my game only for the tasks to start over from the very beginning like I’ve never played before. 

have you claimed anything yet ? Is that still in your build mode ? How far did you get before it started over ?

The “Friends with Death” quest line for week 2 keeps resetting on me. Every time I load up the game it’s back at the beginning and I have to redo all the work I’ve done. I’m playing the same save file with the same family, no cc or mods. I don’t understand why this keeps happening. Is it a bug or do you have to complete it all in one go to count?

dxiskool  Try removing accountDataDB.package, inside Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.

Perhaps you should use another Sim to do the fishing since it makes your Squeamish Sim uncomfortable. That might not be the ideal solution but it's probably the easiest one. Once the quest is finished, it should stop coming back and the week 3 quests should open. You'll need to do more fishing in week 3, and hopefully catch an angel fish, but I think that will be the last of the fishing. 

Omg thank you! I think what happend was the first time I completed week 2, the "friends with death" part randomly completed itself even though I hadn't cooked at level 4 or higher yet. It must've glitched my game, but this fixed it. Thank you so much!

Hi everyone!

I’ve now completed week 1 of reaper rewards 3 times and each time it resets to the beginning rather than progressing onto week 2. Is there anyway to fix this? I don’t play with mods and I’ve tried the fix of deleting this file suggested online (I can’t find anything with that name on my computer).

The event finishes tomorrow and I’d really like the chance to do as much as I can

Microdoob  To try to find the file, open Terminal, in Applications > Utilities, copy and paste this command, and enter:

find / -name "*accountDataDB*" 2>/dev/null

Open that location, or if you can't find it, post the results here.

The quick and dirty intervention would be to create a new admin account on your Mac, NOT inked to your Apple ID (you can skip that step), and play there.  You might have to repeat week one yet again, but hopefully it would stick this time around.
