You could try moving your Mods folder to your desktop and repairing your game. In Origin go to My Game Library and right click on The Sims 4. You should see an option to repair the game. Then place your Mods folder back in your Sims 4 folder and delete the cache and localthumbcache.package files (this just eliminates temporary files for animations that may have become bloated, the game will generate new versions) Restart the game and see if the problem persists.
