Re: sims won’t cook or wash dishes

When my sims start cooking a meal they randomly stop. I can't get them to resume as it says an object is in the way, even when there is not. Then, I cannot get rid of or throw out the half made food.

My game has been almost unplayable since the latest update because of the amount of bugs.

I uninstalled all my mods and still does not make a difference.

Please help.

i think im having a similar issue my sim was infant feeding and it did not stop feeding the sim time didnt even move.

Try the following

Close the game

Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old

Repair the game

Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry.

Start a new save game

Check if you still have the error

Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
