The sims 4 error:123:ea3e8ad:5ec086a3

When i accept to go to prom with my sim, after loading, i get this error and it advises me to restart the game. i did, but nothing changed. I repaired the game, but nothing changed. i don't have any mods. I tried to travel to the auditorium from the sim's phone, but i got the same error. Has this appened to anyone else? Is there any solution?

  • I am getting this a bunch too since the update. I also don't have any mods, and no idea how to fix it. I get it usually when just loading the game, but sometimes if I can get in it pops up when I try to travel to a new world.

I have also been experiencing this since the last update. My error code is 123:7f04d1a6:f2568ce. I have noticed that I have no access to all lots within certain worlds. The worlds I have no current access to due to the error:

    Del Sol Valley, Britechester, Copperdale

Worlds I have no access to because I don't own the packs: Chestnut Ridge, Tomarang

I can try to travel to any lot within the aforementioned worlds and I will get the error code. I only have one game affected and that is the one made since the update came down. None of the games made prior to the update have been affected. The affected game does have full access to the vacation worlds (Batuu, Granite Falls, Selvadorada). I tried moving my sim to the dorms in Britechester. The dorm he moved into loaded, but once he tried traveling to other lots in Britechester the 123 Error code came back. Also, I have no mods.

I'm not sure how to share my save file but am perfectly willing to if that would be helpful.

  • HamletNDisco  I would suggest posting in the master bug thread (linked above) rather than here because to my knowledge, no one from Maxis will ever see these posts.  But they're asking for saves in the master thread, with instructions for how to provide them linked in the accepted solution.

It would also be helpful to provide a lastexception file, one that accompanies an error 123.  Please delete the ones you have now—they're in the same Sims 4 user folder—trigger the error, find the new LE, and include that with the upload.  You can copy and paste the text of the LE into a reply, or create a .rar file and attach it.

For your own troubleshooting, you can try changing the lot type of any affected lot.  At least some of the problem seems to be stuck events, and changing the lot type to generic or residential, even temporarily, should clear the events.  If you can't load a save, try loading a different household instead, at least long enough to change the lot type or invite the affected sims to a different lot.
