UPDATE: Mortician is tied to Biology, and Funeral Director is tied to Psychology. I tested the game with the mortician's assistant, giving her various prestige degrees until the appropriate career(s) showed up.
I believe you are mistaken. I made another Sim go get her psychology degree and Undertaker is not an option for degree advancement. No college degrees for that career path just yet unless it's either a glitch or they just haven't updated it for University.
It must be a glitch then. This is my third test of both degrees, and every test yields the same results. MCC utilized to give each sim the corresponding prestige degree. As you can see, Bob only has the Psych degree, and Eliza only has the Biology degree.
I don't have mods so I think that might be the difference.
