week 2 time travel event not working

I have the same problem.
Quick update: I saw in the general discussion that someone with this problem restarted their game and it solved the problem of the task not clearing. I did that and also deleted all my caches just in case before restarting and went back to the Willow Creek museum and although the command still says "View" (and not study history like the prompt says), it did clear the quest after a little bit. I do NOT, however, have a shard in the inventory like the info box says I should.
ETA: I continued the quest and got shards in the next step, so maybe the info box about getting a shard at the museum is wrong.
