I think they need like special lifetime traits or rewards for what their influence was, and who they are to their community. Some will be cranky old elders, some will be wise gurus who are looked up to, some will be doting grandparents... and all of them will play bingo!
And it shouldn't be too easy to get one or the other. I don't want to play where only the most obviously evil evolve into "cranky", for example. I hate when things are that simplistic. My toddlers who aren't neglected get a happy toddlerhood trait, for example. Come on, y'all. This is the bare minimum... It should be a combination of things that tends to favor one outcome or another, but that maybe even those things can be randomly overridden just by sheer luck. *shrug*
