There was the reorganization earlier this year -- maybe they're cutting back on GPs and SPs to focus more on EPs. If they started work on it around the time that C&D was released, or even earlier when it was in final testing, the pack would be ready to release in November for the shopping season. They obviously had a team working on Seasons at the same time they were working on C&D.

I want a witches or farming gp. Then a Superstar ep that gives us an actual singer career and a feature that lets us make dedicated bands that can do gigs, an actor/film maker career and a modeling career. And University.

Considering when they released Seasons, I'll say that another EP will be extremely unlikely this year.

Not those themes obviously, but just something new for the franchise.

We’ve had 3 EPs back to back now of content that is literally inspired by previous games.

I'd like to see inspiration from the early days of The Sims, something like Superstar or Makin' Magic.

Thanks for posting those, I loved those packs, it was a great trip down memory lane. I'd be in seventh heaven if we had those in TS4; if wishes were horses.... :smiley:

I think it's more likely a Gamepack that will get announced now but I could be wrong. They may have been working on the next EP before they were even finished with Seasons. I'm hoping we get one of these by early next year, at least. :/ I am not sure what they could be releasing before the end of this calendar year. But (my most wanted right now is Witches, then University Life).

Witches (lots of magic, spells, potions, abilities, being able to make your own potions, all kinds of magic + weaknesses) Good, Neutral, bad, and Evil witches. Modern, Traditional, Vintage, etc types of witches.

University Life (sorority / frat life. Secret societies, pledging (maybe they could do some kind of "dare system" where pledges have to do task in order to get accepted into the house and if they don't, they get turned away); also.. "True legacy" Sims can get accepted into houses, if their parents went to that college / house. So, they could try out for the house, or create their own. I would love to be able to set up rules of the houses and activities that they could do inside the houses with their sorority sisters / fraternity brothers. Then they could throw parties or some kind of get together's that included other houses getting to join in on those activities. I really hope they really focus on the houses / dorms experiences and activities this time around, if they make a University Expansion pack.

Beach themed / scuba diving / expansion pack.
Teen stuff pack, or game pack.
Elder stuff pack.

Generations expansion pack (mid life crisis, preteens, prom, crushes, sleep overs, pillow fights, scary stories / stories, and loads more).
Farming
Hobbies - All kinds of crafts, being able to make clubs and doing hobby interactions / activities. I'm very big on getting more and more activities that Sims can do solo, or in groups.

"Hot Date" / Night Life - Interest - (Sims have things in common, attraction system, dating system - new places to take dates to - new activities. New proposal interactions at booth, or table, or even new ways to propose (I've seen some really sweet ones in real life that could be looked into for ideas), photobooth will be back, but with even more options, can choose how to pose, can add filters, etc). "Online profiles". Ability to go on Double dates.

Pool table. I'd like to see pairs of two being able to play pool. This could be something that they could do on double dates.

If it's a gamepack it should release in two weeks, right? Remember, no patch this month. I'm more going with expansion pack around mid November.

They are gonna announce sonething next week. The next patch would be for November patch. I wouldn't be surprised if an EP get released since as far as I remember Game Packs get released on the same month they are announced, except for Dine Out since I remembered it was announced mid-end May of 2016. Probably an EP

That's right. Usually there are 2 weeks between the announcement of a GP and the release of a GP.

Last time with Seasons, there was only like what? a month? between the announcement and release.
And yes, since we don't get a patch in October, we are not going to get a pack (in october), OR it's going to be an EP, or it's going to be a GP but with more weeks to the release.

Only thing I know of next wee k is there's going to be an in-depth demo of the terrain tools; I guess they could slip in an announcement then.
