Anyone else ever get some...really disquieting glitches?

I know when cats & dogs first came out, MCC needed to be updated because there were reports of sims marrying pets but that was updated. I only had that happen once and hasn't happened since the update. Even in my vanilla save (no mods) there aren't any instances of pets and sims getting married. Sounds like if there are mods involved, they might need to be updated if it's happening still in other folks saves.
